Confirmation
JUNIOR HIGH MINISTRY
Confirmation is a process in which we help our students in grades 7 and 8 take ownership of their faith.
The confirmation program takes place during the school year on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM, in room 3 of the school.
Note: You DO NOT NEED to be a member of our church, or Lutheran, to participate in this faith enrichment experience.
Saint Paul Lutheran Church of Northville offers all parents of Junior High children in the community an opportunity to provide Christian instruction and service opportunities for their children. Saint Paul provides this faith forming and nurturing experience called Junior High Confirmation. This ministry is a partnership ministry with parents of Junior High children. It is a two-year program of classroom, worship, Sunday school, retreats and fellowship activities.

Detroit Bible Quizzing (2nd-12th Grade)
Our sixth year of quizzing is happening now for the 2024-2025 school year! This season, we will be going over the Gospel of Luke. Quizzing is intended for kids who do not yet know the Bible in-depth, so it will be a great learning experience for everyone.
Bible quizzing is an awesome way to get involved with a fun, competitive team to memorize God's Word! Students can join a team for the 2024-2025 season, while both kids and adults can participate in the All-Timers Tournament (January) and the Padawan Tournament (February). See details below!
Weekly Practice Times
- Little League (2nd-6th graders): Thursdays @ 3:30PM-4:45PM or 6:45PM-8:00PM
- JV/Varsity (7th-12th graders): Tuesdays @ 6:45PM-8:00PM
- Takes place in the Parish Hall

Padawan Tournament (All Ages)
The Padawan tournament is a tournament where there is no age limit! This means coaches, parents, and others can test their Bible Quizzing skills. No prior knowledge of the material is required to participate! Only quizzers with 1 year of experience or less in Detroit Bible Quizzing (or anyone 8th grade and younger) are eligible to participate, meaning this is a perfect chance to dip your toes into Bible Quizzing.
Teams generally consist of 3 quizzers. This special tournament is NOT limited to St. Paul members, so feel free to form a team with friends or family outside the church. Talk to Jake to get a BSB (Berean Standard Bible) booklet of the material.
